2016 UN Torture - The International Outlaw
Client: Amnesty International
Objectives: Custom Exhibit Design | Branding Identity
Agency: Soze
One of my first installation productions was Torture - The International Outlaw exhibit and it was first featured in the United Nations lobby before moving to Amnesty International's US headquarters in NYC. The exposition was created to highlight the history of international brutality and the partnering nation's ratification of the UN's Convention Against Torture. The overall art direction reflects its biggest partner, Amnesty International, along with an overall historical museum exhibit feel. On this project, I helped lead a team that included a contract designer that prepared layout while we concentrated on the content and licensing. I personally developed and designed the maps with the UN's head Cartography Official. I finalized all exhibit assets for production.
